This is my first mothers day without my mom who passed on april 15 . I watched her melt away with my dad as we personally did her home care for 6 months before she passed, the disease moved so fast that she didn't even make it one year. Luckily in the end we got great help by an amazing women for the last month which aloud to her to stay at home and help us lift her. She got die at home which her wish.

I am asking for donations as there is no medication to help it , slow it , or heal it. It is a death you sentence you lose your speech, your ability to eat... your ability to walk, to paralysis in your own body.  YOUR MIND, completely there having to watch your self fade away. Imagine not being able to communicate with nothing but a thumbs up or down, or a blink of your eyes. Imagine being a daughter, a son, a husband. One day your mom can say she loves you and the nextr day she cant speak at all.

Imagine watching your family member, loved one die this way. ALS is a disease that is increasing in our province as well, there is so many chemicals that we put in our body and its the most cases t the province has ever seen we need to find a cure now.
