Help me create a world free of ALS
Help me create a world free of ALS
On June 2, I will be participating in the Walk to End ALS for the third time. This year, I will be unable to do much walking.
That's because in addition to stealing my ability to speak, eat, and drink, ALS is now taking away my ability to walk. But I'm not giving up because I draw inspiration from the efforts being made to find treatments — and hopefully a cure — for this devastating disease.
Please join me and my family as we raise funds and awareness for the ALS community and those affected by ALS/MND.
Your support will help to:
- create a better day-to-day reality for people and families living with ALS by providing community-based support throughout Manitoba as well as necessary medical equipment like wheelchairs, liftchairs, mobility aids at no cost to those who need them.
- further scientific progress by investing in the ALS Canada Research Program, which funds promising ALS research. There’s been more progress made in ALS research in the last five years than over the last century — we need to keep building on this momentum.
I keep a sign on my fridge that says "anything wonderful can happen" to remind me that there is always hope. Thank you for considering a donation to this important (and personal) cause.
I look forward to seeing those who are able to attend on June 2.
Kevin Rosen 🙂
