ALS will change so much, but one thing it won't change is how much I want to show up for my dad.

He’s in British Columbia, and I’m here in Newfoundland - about as far apart as we could be in Canada. And while I wish more than anything that I could be closer to him right now, this walk is one way I can feel connected and stand beside him, even from across the country.

I’m walking for Dad - for the conversations, the memories, and all the moments ALS might make harder. I’m walking because he deserves support, strength, and to know he’s not facing this alone.

Every step I take is a reminder that distance doesn’t change love. It doesn’t change family. And it doesn’t change the fight.
