This summer, I will be participating in the ALS Canada Walk to End ALS, a cause deeply personal to me. Having lost my father to ALS and now facing the same battle with my mother, it is a terrible disease I want no one to experience. 

My mom,  who I have affectionately nicknamed "Mighty Mouse," may be small in stature, but she embodies incredible strength and resilience. Throughout her life, she has faced every challenge with grace and kindness, including caring for my dad during his battle with ALS and now her own fight. Her unwavering spirit is a constant source of inspiration. 

The need for hope and help is urgent, and that's why I'm joining thousands of others in a passionate and motivated community to "walk" in celebration of hope and the dream of a world free of ALS.
