Help our team create a world free of ALS

               Beverly Ellen Brasier

                     1964 - 2023

Last year we walked with her, in support of her ALS  Journey.

This year we walk in her memory.

She was diagnosed with ALS January 11 2023 and it took her life September 6th of that same year.

When diagnosed the doctors stated that the typical progression is 3 to 5 years.

Her ALS was uniquely aggressive and swift. It took her ability to do absolutely everything in the end; she was taken from us in a little under 9 months.

As a caregiver,  witnessing ALS take your loved one is a living nightmare. The disease is cruel beyond words; and you can do so little to provide the comfort you so desperately want to give.

Mom, dealt with her ALS journey with a resilience I believe very few of us possess.  Her strength was astonishing considering all that she faced daily.

ALS Canada provided us with all of the equipment necessary to care for her at home. Without those resources available to her, Mom’s time with ALS would have been very different and we would have been unable to care for her as she wished.

We walk for you Mom.

We walk for the strength to support those still going through their own ALS journey.

We walk in hopes that funding research will one day yield a cure.

Please join us in our walk to remember her.
