Hi there!

My name is Cheryl and I am team lead for team 'Mr Tony Chan'.

Our family lost him to ALS in December 2021 - only 8 months after his symptom onset and 3 months after his official diagnosis. He had a rare version of this disease called 'Bulbar Onset Amyotropic Lateral Sclerosis'.

We have been participating in the Walk to End ALS since June 2022 in loving memory and in honour of him as well as to help support other patients and families who are affected by this disease.

We want nothing more than for more treatments to be discovered and for a cure to be found.

Your support will help to:

• Further scientific progress by investing in the ALS Canada Research Program
• Provide more resources and support to patients and families affected by this disease (including home visits, support groups and medical equipment like hospital beds, wheelchairs, stairlifts and other items that increase safety in the home, etc)
