"I get knocked down ... but I get up again"

Hi, folks ... life is what happens while you're busy making other plans.   I was formally diagnosed with ALS in January but had lots of advance clues that something was not quite right for several months before.  So yes, ALS is the pits for anyone to have to live with and, also yes, it is progressive and there is no cure (yet).

That just means I have a tougher (and shorter) row to hoe at this stage in life.  While facing the inevitability of the end result, we take heart in Winston Churchill's advice during the darkest days of WWII ... "Never, ever, never, ever, never give up!"

How do we do that with ALS?   Live life to the fullest and do whatever else you can to make things better for yourself and for others.

I am asking you to join me on the Forest City Rollers team, raising funds for research to end ALS and to provide support to those who need it to live with it.

So are you ready to walk and pledge and give? ... Lets Roll !!
