In January Harry and I learned that he has ALS.   It certainly has changed our vision for retirement!   Harry has accepted this journey always looking for the positives and wanting to live each day to its fullest.   We are happy to be walking because we know how valuable the ALS society is to its members.   

Your support will help to:

• Further scientific progress by investing in the ALS Canada Research Program which funds promising ALS research. There’s been more progress made in ALS research in the last five years than over the last century – we need to keep building on this momentum.
• Create a better day-to-day reality for people and families living with ALS by providing community-based support – home visits, support groups and medical equipment like hospital beds, wheelchairs and other items at no cost to those who need them.
