I am walking in support of my mother, Jen Pendlebury for the 2nd year following her diagnosis with ALS. There is much that could be said about ALS, its effects and the cruelty of this disease. Our fundraiser is about raising money for the research on ALS, treatment for ALS, as well as supporting those affected by ALS and their families. There is much that yet to be understood about ALS, from its sources to its progression to how to more effectively treat the disease. But I believe there is a future possible where we have answers to all those questions and can live in a world free of ALS. With your support we can take another step along the road towards that world and get ever closer to that goal. 

Thank you for your support, perhaps one of the most revealing parts of my families journey thus far has been the incredible numbers of lives that have been graced by my parents. From old basketball teammates, to former teachers of myself and my siblings, to friends made from a mutal love of sport, food, and family, there has been a tidal wave of support for my mother. I am grateful to her for more things than I can count, as well as the many indviduals who have helped us along the way.
