This weekend, I am volunteering for the Walk to End ALS in Waterloo.

For those who knew our mom, Eleanor, you know how incredibly courageous she was throughout her journey - Continuing to smile and laugh during so many visits with family and friends, even on the toughest days.

While this feels like such a small thing I can do, I truly hope that continued research can make a meaningful difference for other families navigating this disease.

I know this experience will bring some sadness, but I also want to shine a light on ALS and help make a difference in my mom’s memory.
