Opening Ceremony Start Time: 10:30 AM

Walk Details: 

  • Parking: On site and alternative parking at the Salvation Army 555 Springbank Dr. across the street – Busy intersection so please be safe! Please watch Parking Attendants to help direct you !  
  • Walk Route is 5km total – 2.5km one way and turn around at Storybook Gardens
  • Accessible Washrooms on site and one along the trail with water fountain.
  • Pre-packaged food and beverages will be available at your event for you to enjoy. You are welcome to bring snacks and enjoy a picnic with friends and family after you walk!
  • Please also remember to bring some water out on your walk with you. 
  • Each Walk location will include an Activity Zone with supplies and craft materials such as bristol board, markers, etc. 
  • We encourage you to make your own sign to carry on route, raising awareness of ALS or honouring the person you are walking for.
