A world free of ALS

My sister, Melanie and I are travelling to Winnipeg to join my dear brother Paul, sister in law Dinah and family and friends to "Walk to End ALS" June 20th to help raise awareness and support for ALS--a devastating disease that affects so many individuals and families.

Our brother Paul, along with many others, is courageously facing the challenges of ALS every single day. We are walking not only for Paul, but for every person and family impacted by the disease.

The kids and I are also joining others in the Halton Region "walk to End ALS" June 14th at Bronte Waterfront Park.

Thank you for helping us raise awareness and stand alongside those living with ALS.

Your support will help to:

  • Further scientific progress by investing in the ALS Canada Research Program, which funds promising ALS research. The ALS Canada Research Program is the only national dedicated source of funding for ALS research across Canada. This program provides peer-reviewed grants to researchers whose work has the greatest potential to advance the field of ALS. There’s been more progress made in ALS research in the last five years than over the last century – we need to keep building on this momentum.
  • Create a better day-to-day reality for people and families living with ALS by providing community-based services throughout Ontario. This includes support groups, virtual programming, and information resources, which are all critical in improving the quality of life for people living with and affected by ALS.

Sincerely,

Margot
