This summer, we are proud to be participating in the ALS Canada Walk to End ALS in honour of Mauro.

Mauro is someone who has always shown up for others — a kind, genuine person who never hesitated to lend a hand, offer support, or simply be there when it mattered most. He has made a lasting impact on so many of us through his generosity, his strength, and his heart.

Now, it’s our turn to show up for him.

As a team, we’re walking to remind Mauro that he is surrounded by love and support every step of the way.

We’re also walking to raise funds and awareness for ALS - to help end this disease, and to ensure that individuals and families living with ALS have access to the care, support, and resources they need.

Your support will help to:

• Advance critical research through the ALS Canada Research Program, the only national dedicated source of funding for ALS research in Canada. There has been more progress in the last five years than in the previous century — and we need to keep that momentum going.
• Improve the day-to-day lives of those affected by ALS by supporting community-based services across Ontario, including home visits, support groups, virtual programming, and essential resources for families.

We are walking with hope — for Mauro, for his family, and for every family impacted by ALS.
