I had decided last year would be my final Walk to End ALS. Mainly in guilt from many always donating so much and a tiny bit of disappointment with others not following through. It just seemed like a good time to stop asking ...

Then I was accepted into the ALS Community Advocate program. Here I learned what is going on in the research world and the strides being made. I also met wonderful people associated with this disease. Therefore this year is both truly in memory of my mom and to keep up the fight of hope and progress for others.
