On December 8th 2009 my world came crashing down with ALS took my daddy from this world!  He was a wonderful man so so full of life larger than life in my opinion.  He was kind, caring, strong, smart, loving, funny, talented & I miss him GREATLY!!!

My daddy loved to sing & boy could he, he loved Johnny Cash & sounded just like him I miss hearing his beautiful voice but most of all I miss being able to get a hug from my daddy & hear "I love you Tammy" or "I'm proud of you Tammy"  my daddy was only 51 yrs old when the beast took him he died at home & was very a wear the day he took his last breath & that hurts the most knowing he didn't want to go but ALS had run its course!  He was 47yrs old when he was diagnosed & I will be 47 this July that scares me!

WE NEED A CURE NOW & I'M ASKING NO PLEADING FOR THAT HELP BY DONATIONS SO WE DONT HAVE TO WATCH ANYMORE INCREDIBLE HUMANS SUFFER THE FATE MY DADDY DID!

This summer we will be participating in the ALS Canada Walk to End ALS. Now more than ever, the ALS community needs our support to provide hope and help to families affected by ALS. That’s why we're joining thousands of others, a part of a passionate and motivated community to “walk” in celebration of hope and a world free of ALS. • Create a better day-to-day reality for people and families living with ALS by providing community-based support throughout Ontario – like home visits and support groups – as well as necessary medical equipment like hospital beds, wheelchairs, stairlifts and other items that increase safety in the home, at no cost to those who need them.
• Further scientific progress by investing in the ALS Canada Research Program, which funds promising ALS research. The ALS Canada Research Program is the only national dedicated source of funding for ALS research across Canada. This program provides peer-reviewed grants to researchers whose work has the greatest potential to advance the field of ALS. There’s been more progress made in ALS research in the last five years than over the last century – we need to keep building on this momentum.
