I am participating with my daughter Katie in the 2024 WALK TO END ALS, because my husband Peter, Katie's Dad, was one of the thousands of Canadians and their families living with this disease.  He lost his fight April 26, 2019, but I have not lost my will to fight to raise awareness, support and fundraising so that no one else has to suffer the way he did.

ALS, (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), is a terminal disease that takes away one's ability to walk, talk and eventually breathe on their own.  Peter was diagnosed February 2017 and was determined to fight the disease to that he could have as much time with his family as possible.  

I am asking for your support as Katie and I walk to honour Peter with the hope that through research and new medications others will not have to suffer, and better yet, that a cure will be found.
