I am walking in memory of two people who lost their battle with ALS. 

Sophia Klaras was the type of lady that no matter what you had going on in your day or week, when you saw her or she entered a room you just couldn't help but smile and feel at ease. Sophia had a natural ability to put a smile on your face and loves her family with all that she has to give. If you couldn't find Sophia in the house or talking with the neighbours, most likely she would be tending to her garden with a green thumb. 

I didn't know Sophia for very long, but I know the kind of person that she is from seeing the core values and ideals that she has instilled in her son Hector. 

Alain Cabot, was one of the most extraordinary people I have ever come to know. He was an RCMP officer, a chef expert, an all-in-one handyman, a loving husband, a stoic father, a kind friend and my mentor. In the time that I have known Alain, I learned a lot of skills that I still used today, but a lot of values that I carry close with me. 

Pllease help Hector and I reach our goals and helping end this terrible disease. I've seen how how ALS can drastically change the lives of people. Let's put an end to it!
