Join Chris May and create a world free of ALS
This June, I will be participating in the ALS Canada Walk to End ALS. My goals are to raise funds for research, Support for people living with ALS and their families, and raise awareness that there currently is no cure and limited treatments for ALS.
To support these goals, I will be participating in two community Walks to End ALS:
- Niagara Region - June 6
- Mississauga/Etobicoke- June 20
If you are nearby,i would love for you to join me at one or both walks. - not just for my family, but for every family navigating ALS.
Now more than ever, the ALS community needs our support to provide hope and help to families affected by ALS. Thatâs why we're joining thousands of others, a part of a passionate and motivated community to âwalkâ in celebration of hope and a world free of ALS. Please consider supporting our team and donating towards this important cause.
Your support will help drive real impact:
Further scientific progress by investing in the ALS Canada Research Program, which funds promising ALS research. The ALS Canada Research Program is the only national dedicated source of funding for ALS research across Canada. This program provides peer-reviewed grants to researchers whose work has the greatest potential to advance the field of ALS. Thereâs been more progress made in ALS research in the last five years than over the last century â we need to keep building on this momentum. Create a better day-to-day reality for people and families living with ALS by providing community-based services throughout Ontario. This includes home visits and support groups, virtual programming, and information resources, which are all critical in improving the quality of life for people living with and affected by ALS.
Joining our team will help make a difference by extending my fundraising and awareness reach. Please consider donating to our team fundraising page as we work toward a world free of ALS.
United, we are stronger together!
Thank you,
Christopher May
