Walk for Nat – Honouring a Beautiful Life
This June 28th, our family will be coming together for the Walk to End ALS in honour of my dad, Nat, who we lost in June 2024 after his courageous battle with ALS.
My dad was one of the kindest, gentlest souls you could ever meet. Whether he was creating art, telling stories, or spending time with his grandchildren, he brought warmth, patience, and quiet strength to everything he did. As a husband, father, and Nonno, he filled our lives with love, humour, and creativity. The mark he left on all of us, and everyone who knew him, is something we carry forward every single day.
Walking this year is our way of honouring him: his spirit, his compassion, and the beautiful legacy he left behind.
Now more than ever, the ALS community needs hope, support, and momentum. That’s why we’re joining thousands of others across the country to walk for a future free of ALS, and why your support means so much.
Your donation makes a real impact
By supporting our team, you’ll help:
✨ Advance vital ALS research.
Your donation fuels the ALS Canada Research Program, the only national dedicated source of ALS research funding in Canada. This program invests in the most promising, peer‑reviewed research—research that has led to more breakthroughs in the last five years than the previous hundred. There is momentum, and we need to keep pushing forward.
✨ Support families living with ALS today.
Funding also helps provide essential community-based services throughout Ontario—home visits, equipment support, virtual programs, information resources, and support groups. These services are lifelines for families navigating daily life with ALS.
Walk with us. Walk for Nat.
We would love for you to join our team on June 28th or support our fundraising page if you’re able. Every step, every share, and every donation brings us closer to a world without ALS, and keeps Nat’s light shining brightly.
Join us and Walk for Nat. 💙
