My sister-in-law was diagnosed with ALS in January. Needless to say all loved ones were, and are, in shock. Looking to support Deb in any manner, this summer I will be participating in the 'ALS Canada Walk to End ALS' in June and the 'Ride for ALS Jordan' in October. As Deb bravely navigates her diagnosis, family is rallying to her, her family and the ALS community.
That’s why I will be joining thousands of others, a part of a passionate and motivated community, to “walk” and "ride" in celebration of hope and a world free of ALS. As such, any and all support to provide help to all individuals and families affected by ALS is appreciated. Thank you for considering to support Deb's Team and donating towards this important cause. Note, should you decide to contribute, if you wish to spread your donation across the two events that would be equally wonderful as I will be seeking further support after signing up to "ride' later in the summer months.

Further scientific progress by investing in the ALS Canada Research Program, which funds promising ALS research. The ALS Canada Research Program is the only national dedicated source of funding for ALS research across Canada. This program provides peer-reviewed grants to researchers whose work has the greatest potential to advance the field of ALS. There’s been more progress made in ALS research in the last five years than over the last century – we need to keep building on this momentum. Create a better day-to-day reality for people and families living with ALS by providing community-based services throughout Ontario. This includes home visits and support groups, virtual programming, and information resources, which are all critical in improving the quality of life for people living with and affected by ALS.Thank you at the very least for becoming more aware by reading to this point.
