This summer I will be walking in honnor of my dad. He was diagnosed with ALS seven years ago. Though he is not here physically anymore, his spirt and love still are! Everyone who deals with ALS or has a friend or family member dealing with ALS can feel a little lost or like you are in this fight alnoe, but the truth is that you arn't if you come to the walk you will connect with people in the same situation as you, as emotion as the day can be it can also bring joy to be with everyone as a whole community. This June, I encourage you all to come out and help me spread awarness about ALS. See you there! Go Bills!!!

That’s why we're joining thousands of others, a part of a passionate and motivated community to “walk” in celebration of hope and a world free of ALS. • Further scientific progress by investing in the ALS Canada Research Program, which funds promising ALS research. The ALS Canada Research Program is the only national dedicated source of funding for ALS research across Canada. This program provides peer-reviewed grants to researchers whose work has the greatest potential to advance the field of ALS. There’s been more progress made in ALS research in the last five years than over the last century – we need to keep building on this momentum.
• Create a better day-to-day reality for people and families living with ALS by providing community-based services throughout Ontario. This includes support groups, virtual programming, and information resources, which are all critical in improving the quality of life for people living with and affected by ALS.
