This summer, I’ll be participating in the ALS Canada Walk to End ALS.. I’ll be walking in honour of my good friend, Lou Klein, who passed away from ALS last year.  Now more than ever, the ALS community needs our support to bring hope and help to families affected by this devastating disease.

Your support will help:

• Advance scientific progress through the ALS Canada Research Program, the only national dedicated source of funding for ALS research across Canada. The program provides peer-reviewed grants to researchers whose work has the greatest potential to move the field forward. More progress has been made in ALS research over the last five years than in the previous century combined, and we need to keep building on that momentum.

• Improve the day-to-day lives of people and families living with ALS by supporting community-based services throughout Ontario. This includes support groups, virtual programming, and educational resources that are critical in helping those affected by ALS navigate their journey.
