Alex for Team Paquette vs ALS
Let's give hope to the families that are affected by ALS
Let's give hope to the families that are affected by ALS
My Best Friend's Mother was diagnosed with ALS in 2025, I have seen how this diagnosis has weighed on him and his family. I am walking for them this summer as I want to do everything to show my support for my friend. I love him and his family and want to do everything I can to bring some light durng the darker times.
I'm walking for his mother but I am also walking for him and his close ones who have to bare the weight of this diagnosis. Let's work together so in the future families will have less despair when faced with this diagnosis. Let's help our friends and families because everything is a little easier when you are surrounded by loved ones.
I want to share my love and support for Claire, André, Sonia, Tim, Andy, Henry, Camille and Ricky!
Sincerely,
Alex
Here are a few words from the org:
This summer we will be participating in the ALS Canada Walk to End ALS. Now more than ever, the ALS community needs our support to provide hope and help to families affected by ALS. That’s why we're joining thousands of others, a part of a passionate and motivated community to “walk” in celebration of hope and a world free of ALS. Please consider supporting our team and donating towards this important cause.
Your support will help to:
- Further scientific progress by investing in the ALS Canada Research Program, which funds promising ALS research. The ALS Canada Research Program is the only national dedicated source of funding for ALS research across Canada. This program provides peer-reviewed grants to researchers whose work has the greatest potential to advance the field of ALS. There’s been more progress made in ALS research in the last five years than over the last century – we need to keep building on this momentum.
- Create a better day-to-day reality for people and families living with ALS by providing community-based services throughout Ontario. This includes support groups, virtual programming, and information resources, which are all critical in improving the quality of life for people living with and affected by ALS.
Join our team in making a difference. Please consider donating to our team fundraising page as we work toward a world free of ALS.
United, we are stronger together!
