On June 7, 2026, I will be participating in the ALS Canada Walk to End ALS in honour of my grandmother, Pushpa Singh, who passed away from ALS in November 2025.

It was heartbreaking to watch my grandmother lose her ability to walk, talk, eat, swallow, and breathe because of ALS. Despite everything, she remained determined and optimistic. It was difficult to see how quickly the disease progressed and how rapidly she lost her independence.

Your generosity will support ALS research, community services, advocacy, and education to improve the lives of people living with ALS and their families - and help work toward a world free of ALS.
