I’m participating in the ALS Canada Walk to End ALS, and for our family, it’s deeply personal.

My partner, Chris, was diagnosed with ALS in October. We’re taking it one day at a time, adjusting to a reality we never expected. As overwhelming as this diagnosis is, Chris has chosen to meet it the way he’s approached his entire career — through advocacy and action. He serves on the ALS Canada Advocacy Committee, helping ensure the voices of people living with ALS are heard at every level of government. I’m incredibly proud of him for turning something so devastating into purpose.

On Saturday, we’ll be taking part in the Walk to End ALS at Memorial Park in Port Credit. If you're nearby, we'd love for you to join our team. You can register online or in person beginning at 10 a.m.
