Monique for team Paquette vs ALS
Help us create a world free of ALS
Help us create a world free of ALS
On June 6th, I will be walking in the ALS Canada Walk to End ALS in support of my sister-in-law, Claire Paquette, who was diagnosed with ALS just over a year ago. Claire has faced this with quiet strength, and I am walking beside her, her daughter Sonia, her son Andre, and other friends and family.
ALS is a hard disease. There is no cure yet, but research and support programs are making a real difference for families going through it right now. That is why we are asking for your help.
If you are able to donate, even a small amount goes a long way toward funding research and providing support to families affected by ALS. We are grateful for anything you can give.
Thank you
Your support will help to:
- Further scientific progress by investing in the ALS Canada Research Program, which funds promising ALS research. The ALS Canada Research Program is the only national dedicated source of funding for ALS research across Canada. This program provides peer-reviewed grants to researchers whose work has the greatest potential to advance the field of ALS. There’s been more progress made in ALS research in the last five years than over the last century – we need to keep building on this momentum.
- Create a better day-to-day reality for people and families living with ALS by providing community-based services throughout Ontario. This includes support groups, virtual programming, and information resources, which are all critical in improving the quality of life for people living with and affected by ALS.
Join our team in making a difference. Please consider donating to our team fundraising page as we work toward a world free of ALS.
United, we are stronger together!
