This summer, I am participating in the ALS Canada Walk to End ALS for the person who inspires me most: my mom (Shirley Jacobs).
 
My mom has a heart of a lion. Even in the face of her diagnosis, she remains the most positive person I have ever known, fighting her fight with her head held high and continuing to make an impact on everyone she meets. She is my hero, and I am walking to honor her strength.
