Opening Ceremony Start Time: 10:30 AM

Walk Details: 

  • Free parking on-site at Tony Graham Recreation Complex & Walter Baker Park
  • Walk will take place at the Walter Baker Park onto Terry Fox Drive around Hazeldean Road and turning right back into the Walter Baker Park around the pond to the finish line. Follow Lead Marshals to guide you along!
  • Pre-packaged food and beverages will be available at your event for you to enjoy. You are welcome to bring snacks and enjoy a picnic with friends and family after you walk!
  • Please also remember to bring some water out on your walk with you. 
  • Each Walk location will include an Activity Zone with supplies and craft materials such as bristol board, markers, etc. 
  • We encourage you to make your own sign to carry on route, raising awareness of ALS or honouring the person you are walking for.
